The flagship Championship will be held at Universal Studios in Los Angeles, inside a purpose-built arena known as the HexaCage. Players will have a goalkeeper and compete weekly in matches filmed and produced by IMG, the agency behind the Premier League, UFC, and Wimbledon.

Who’s Eligible?
Male professional players and keepers aged 18–40
Must be a recent and currently unattached (free agent) or eligible to compete during the tournament window
Must have recent pro league appearances
Must hold an eligible passport or visa to enter the U.S.
How to Apply
You or your agent can apply now on here via the World Football Players Association [Athlete Player Application], submitting, player bio, and brief motivation. The WFPA tournament’s official selection team, led by Premier League scouts and experienced pro evaluators, will choose the final 32 for the first competition.
Final selection announced in February 2026 with the season beginning shortly after in March.
November 2025 Tournament

We are hosting an invitational tournament so you can stay sharp and ready ahead of the January 2026 transfer window. The tournament will last 15 days and will take place in Los Angeles, with travel and accommodation covered.
